ArvinMeritor adds Monterrey center

ArvinMeritor Inc. has opened a new warehouse and distribution center in Monterrey, Mexico, to serve customers of its Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket (CVA) business

ArvinMeritor Inc. has opened a new warehouse and distribution center in Monterrey, Mexico, to serve customers of its Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket (CVA) business. The warehouse doubles the capacity of the previous site it replaces in Escobedo, Mexico.

The 30,515 sq.-ft. facility will include a 2,690 sq.-ft. office area and will be outfitted with the latest inventory and material-handling equipment in both its shipping and receiving areas, ArvinMeritor said. When fully operational, the Monterrey location will handle a portfolio of 4,800 items distributed under the brands Meritor, Dirona and Sudisa brands.
