EPA Slates Idle Reduction Conference

EPA hosts Texas First! conference

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will be hosting its “Texas First!” Idle Reduction & SmartWay Transportation Partnership Conference on December 15 at the Hilton Austin Airport in Austin, TX.

The conference will discuss idle reduction technologies for commercial vehicles. The agenda will also address greenhouse gas emissions, fuel consumption, pollutants such as NOx and particulate matter (PM), operational costs, energy security, energy savings, and environmental justice issues.
