Aether adds new sales and marketing team

Aether Systems, Inc. today announced new sales and marketing leaders for its Transportation & Logistics Division. Ken Mitchell has been named vp of sales, Mark Spicer has been named director of national sales and Michael Brown has been named vp of product marketing. Aether Systems, Inc. today announced new sales and marketing leaders for its Transportation & Logistics Division.

Ken Mitchell has been named vp of sales, Mark Spicer has been named director of national sales and Michael Brown has been named vp of product marketing. All report to Transportation & Logistics president Frank Briganti.

The trio will assist the Transportation & Logistics division in developing, marketing and selling Aether's broad suite of wireless for serving the transportation industry.

Mitchell has more than 25 years of experience in the transportation industry and has worked with technology-based companies such as Terion and American Mobile Satellite Corp. Prior to Aether, Mitchell was vp – business development for Transcommunications.

Spicer brings 20 years of experience selling technology solutions to the transportation and logistics industry. Prior to joining Aether, Spicer was head of sales at Transcommunications.

Brown joined Aether following Aether's acquisition of certain assets and licenses related to @Track's long haul trucking and asset-tracking business. He served as its director of product development. He brings 15 years of technology development and marketing experience to Aether.
