Con-Way Canada Express, a Toronto-based subsidiary of LTL giant Con-Way Transportation Services, plans to open two new service centers in the next two months.
The facilities will be in Montreal, Quebec and Windsor, Ontario. The Quebec center will feature17 loading doors and 8,700 sq. ft. of space. The 24-door, 10,200 sq. ft. Windsor facility replaces a smaller facility and will allow for improved pickup and delivery times.
"Windsor is the busiest international gateway between the U.S. and Canada and our new facility there will be instrumental in improving international and local service," said Rick Smith, general manager of Con-Way Canada Express. Lina Turgeon, a 15-year veteran of the trucking industry, will manage the St. Luc facility, and Brad Berfelz will manage the Windsor center.
Con-Way Canada Express operates throughout Canada and is part of Con-Way Central Express, an operating unit of $2 billion Con-Way Transportation Services.
