    Farm equipment manufacturer Deere & Company plans to implement PowerTrack, a business-to-business Internet payment service, for its transportation providers in order to streamline the process of logistics payments.

    Deere & Company said PowerTrack eliminates paper from the business-to-business payment process, enables electronic accounts payable and receivable, and links logistics and financial processes for greater efficiency and management control.

    Deere & Company, based in Moline IL said it expects PowerTrack to improve logistics and payment visibility for all its transportation providers – across all modes. Better visibility will ultimately save time and help them make better logistics management decisions, it said.
