• Diesel Price Drops Slightly

    According to the Department of Energy, the price of diesel fell for the first time in six weeks, falling from an average of $1.529 per gal. for the week ending May 28 to $1.514 for June 4. Seven of nine reporting regions reported a price decrease, while the West Coast region remained the same.     According to the Department of Energy, the price of diesel fell for the first time in six weeks, falling from an average of $1.529 per gal. for the week ending May 28 to $1.514 for June 4.

    Seven of nine reporting regions reported a price decrease, while the West Coast region remained the same. The Rocky Mountain region reported a price increase to $1.622 per gal., up $0.010 from the prior week.

    The Lower Atlantic region reported the lowest price, at $1.402 per gal., while the East Coast and Gulf Coast also reported prices under $1.50.
