FedEx announces rate increases

FedEx Corp. today announced rate changes for FedEx Express and FedEx Ground, effective January 6. FedEx Express will increase list rates an average of 3.5% for shipments within the U.S. and for U.S. export shipments. FedEx Corp. today announced rate changes for FedEx Express and FedEx Ground, effective January 6.

FedEx Express will increase list rates an average of 3.5% for shipments within the U.S. and for U.S. export shipments. The FedEx Express price changes also include an increase in the delivery area surcharge to $1.75 from $1.50 and an increase in the Saturday pickup and delivery surcharges to $12.50 from $10.

FedEx Ground will increase rates an average of 3.9%.
