AgriClick.com, an Internet subsidiary of Primedia Inc., has formed a strategic alliance with Hookup.com, an online truck, trailer and equipment marketplace that offers around-the-clock auctions and e-commerce marketing. The alliance givesAgriClick users an online venue for buying and selling transportation products such as trucks and trailers.

“AgriClick is dedicated to giving professionals in the agribusiness community a single point of access to all the information and resources they need to conduct their businesses and manage their careers,” stated Candice Bowman, marketing director for AgriClick.com. “The alliance with hookup.com broadens our offerings by enabling users to take care of their transportation supplies online.”

Featured on the “Buy & Sell” section of the AgriClick online community, Hookup.com allows sellers to market trucks, trailers and equipment to potential buyers outside their region. Buyers can shop at their convenience, typically choosing from a broader selection than what might be available locally.

“Our alliance has the potential to introduce a huge number of agribusiness professionals to our service,” said Bob Vance, business development manager for Hookup.com. “At the same time, we’re able to offer greater value to our members by creating more exchange opportunities.”
