IdleAire Technologies said its advanced travel center electrification (ATE) system could provide long-haul truck drivers with homeland security and other emergency information in the cabs of their parked trucks.
The system operates on IdleAire’s own private, secure network, which is controlled by the company’s network operations center in Knoxville.
This network allows the company to flash messages, including pictures, text and video to any or every IdleAire-equipped parking space across the country, depending on the need.
