FMCSA administrator Joseph M. Clapp and Michael Janke, a veteran Navy SEAL and CIA operative, will be keynote speakers at National Private Truck Council's Education/Management Conference and Exhibition, scheduled for April 28-30 in Austin, TX.
President George W. Bush appointed Clapp the first administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration on October 4. FMCSA is one of nine administrations within the U.S. Dept. of Transportation and the first major new agency created by Congress in more than 30 years.
