ABC Companies to deliver all-satellite bus and coach tracking solution

Fleet Management Solutions (FMS) and ABC Companies have entered into an agreement under which FMS will provide ABC’s requirements for satellite-based motor coach tracking, locating and reporting systems.

ABC Companies—which sells and leases new and pre-owned highway coaches—will utilize the FMS MLT-300 all-satellite system for its internal tracking requirements as well as provide the same to its customers. FMS has developed specific programs to meet ABC’s requirements.

“We’re very excited about this partnership,” said Tim Wayland, president, finance, ABS Financial Services. “FMS is providing the latest and most advanced all-satellite, web-based tracking technology in the industry. The FMS solution fully meets ABC’s internal asset tracking requirements, as well as those of our current and future customers.”

With its headquarters in San Luis Obispo, CA, FMS manufactures, distributes and supports all-satellite based mobile asset tracking, locating and reporting solutions. Its solutions are comprised of hardware, firmware and software, including GPS, wireless, satellite and the latest in web-based asset tracking.

ABC Companies has recently expanded its product offerings to include the versatile M1000 Series mid-size and Van Hool transit coaches. It now provides equipment for shuttle, transit, line-haul or touring operations. ABC Service provides routine mechanical service, major repairs and a parts inventory at each of its five full-service facilities. ABC Parts Source supplies original OEM and quality aftermarket parts. A new division, ABC Service America, provides express preventative maintenance, fleet services and minor repair services for all vehicle classes.
