Nexterna Names President and CEO

Omaha, NE-based Nexterna Inc. has named Richard M. Gozia as its new president and CEO. According to Nexterna, Gozia brings a broad range of leadership experience and a proven track record of creating value for developing companies. Omaha, NE-based Nexterna Inc. has named Richard M. Gozia as its new president and CEO. According to Nexterna, Gozia brings a broad range of leadership experience and a proven track record of creating value for developing companies.

Gozia most recently served as president and chief operating officer for CellStar Corp., a wholesale distributor of wireless telephones. During Gozia's three-and-a-half year tenure, the Dallas-based company grew from $850 million to record revenues of more than $2.3 billion.

“Dick brings nearly 30 years of proven leadership, team building and strategic planning experience to Nexterna,” said Osmo Hautanen, chairman of Nexterna’s board of directors. “His leadership abilities will make the company a leading contender for organizations evaluating mobile resource management technology.”

Gozia replaces Lynden Tennison, who is taking a senior position with Union Pacific Corp.’s Information Technology Group.
