The new edition of RouteTools includes more than 200,000 data updates for quickest routes to the North American Highway Network, up-to-date information on more than 5,000 truck stops locations and available amenities, as well as updated truck attributes for 48- and 53-foot truck-trailer configurations. References to the 2004 Motor Carriers’ Road Atlas have been updated, as well.
Rand McNally has eliminated the licensing fee with the updated RouteTools software. A driver can simply register the product and load it into a computer for continuous use.
The updated RouteTools Professional Driver Edition software is available on CD-ROM at a retail price of $199 through TA Travel Centers of America and Love’s Travel Stops, and directly from Rand McNally.
