A 68-in. flat-floor, walk-through model has been added to Western Star Trucks’ Stratosphere sleeper line. Joining the 82-in. version introduced last year, the shorter sleeper will be available in the second quarter of 2004 for Western Star 4900 models, including 109-, 123- and 132-in. BBCs.

Like its bigger brother, the 68-in. Stratosphere will be offered in two trim levels with a variety of bunk, cabinet, storage, window and lighting options. It features flat floor between the cab and sleeper and adds two-ft. of headroom so both passenger and driver can stand and walk into the sleeper area.
