Yellow Road Team Promotes Safety

Yellow Transportation, a subsidiary of Yellow Roadway Corp., has announced forming a Road Team— a group of eight professional drivers charged with underscoring safety in the industry through active community relations. “The overall goal of the Road Team is to promote a positive image for the truck driving profession, Yellow Transportation and safety,” said James Welch, Yellow Transportation president

The Yellow Transportation Road Team members are:

  • David Bowers, city driver, Clarksburg, WV

  • Norman Branford, city driver, Houston, TX

  • Gerald Cudmore, city driver, Watertown, SD

  • Mark Hassemer, city driver, Green Bay, WI

  • Ken Meyer, city driver, Maybrook, NY

  • Ernie Rebella, city driver, Tampa, FL

  • Preston Van Slochteren, city driver, Martinez, CA

  • Jim Wilcox, city driver, Farmington, NM
