FMCSA sponsors safety technology meeting

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) will be sponsoring its 2005 Intelligent Technologies Systems/Commercial Vehicle Operations (ITS/CVO) Deployment Showcase at the Hyatt Regency Feb. 22 to 23 at Savannah, GA. The event will display technologies that reduce truck fatality rates.

Also featured will be sessions on Commercial Vehicle Information Systems and Networks (CVISN) core capabilities and expanded deployment and how to market the technology. FMCSA will present a workshop that addresses how investments in CVISN and ITO/CVO technologies could be used to prevent terrorist attacks.
