Mack Trucks announced it will again be the primary sponsor next year of the American Trucking Assns.’ (ATA) Share the Road program.

Share the Road is designed to teach auto drivers how to drive safely around large trucks, and ultimately improve highway safety. Professional truck drivers with exemplary safety records will participate as spokespersons for the program.

Next year will mark the company’s sixth consecutive year of sponsoring the program.

“On behalf of our customers, dealers, dedicated staff, and the rest of the Mack family, it is my pleasure to announce today that we will continue our support of Share the Road next year,” said Paul Vikner, Mack president & CEO. “Safety is one of Mack's top priorities, and we encourage others in the trucking industry with a similar commitment to join us and Chevron Delo as primary sponsors, as together with the ATA we seek to extend the reach of this very important safety initiative.”
