Nominations are now open for the 18th edition of the Best Fleets to Drive For program, produced by CarriersEdge. The program evaluates fleets on driver programs and workplace excellence across multiple categories. Nominations are open through October 31.
All for-hire fleets operating 10 or more tractor-trailers in the U.S. or Canada, regardless of freight segment, are eligible to participate. Once nominated, participating fleets complete a questionnaire and an interview, providing details about their driver programs across multiple categories. Selected drivers are also surveyed, supplementing management-provided information.

Company responses and driver survey results are compiled and scored, with the top 20 scorers recognized as the Best Fleets to Drive For. The Top 20 is divided into “small” and “large” fleet categories, with the highest-scoring fleet in each category crowned Best Overall Fleet. Fleets entering the Hall of Fame are also honored as overall winners in their respective categories.
Winners will be recognized at the Best Fleets to Drive For Education & Awards Conference, scheduled for March 2026.
