The Women In Trucking Association recently called for nominations for the 2026 Distinguished Woman in Logistics Award. The association, which represents women across the trucking and logistics industry, created the award to recognize leadership, influence, and professional impact among women working in logistics roles throughout North America.
Now in its second decade, the award honors women whose work drives growth, strengthens supply chains, and shapes the future of logistics, including roles in freight brokerage, third-party logistics, and supply chain operations. The recognition also emphasizes mentorship, advocacy, and community engagement that encourage more women to pursue and advance in logistics careers.
Nominations are open through February 27, with no nomination fee required. Individuals and organizations familiar with a nominee’s work may submit entries online. The 2026 award recipient will be honored at the TIA 2026 Capital Ideas Conference, scheduled for April 15–18 in Phoenix, Arizona.
“The Distinguished Woman in Logistics Award exemplifies the power of women’s leadership in a field critical to our economy,” Jennifer Hedrick, CAE, president & CEO of WIT, stated. “We invite industry leaders, peers, and organizations to nominate women whose vision, determination, and influence are shaping the next generation of logistics excellence.”
