    The Truckload Carriers Assn. will host a two-day workshop that will detail how to grow a carrier with independent contractors, on June 28 and 29 at the Four Points Sheraton O’Hare.

    The workshop will be divided into three sections to address operations, legal issues and business practices of successful contractors, respectively.

    Ray Haight, executive director of MacKinnon Transport and Kevin Rutherford, CEO of The Alliance will be the featured speakers at the meeting.
