Paccar profits mark a banner centennial

Paccar Inc., which recently celebrated its centennial, reported record revenues and earnings in 2004, which for the year was $11.4 billion and $907 million, respectively. For the fourth quarter of last year, Paccar reaped $241.4 million worth of profits on $3.19 billion in revenue.

The OEM noted achievements for that year including its production of a record-breaking 124,000 trucks worldwide, as well as opening a $10-million Kenworth research and development center in Renton, WA.
