Phillips taps Peter Harker as its new CFO
Phillips has appointed Peter Harker as chief financial officer to help scale the business and support the long-term success of its customers. Harker will play a role in guiding the company’s financial strategy as Phillips continues to grow its market share and innovate.
Harker assumes oversight for the financial health and financial direction of Phillips Industries, Phillips Connect, and Phillips Europe. He brings decades of leadership experience to the company’s financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Harker will also oversee the company’s financial reporting, cash flow management, working capital optimization, and capital structure that ensures financial resilience.

TCA welcomes Erica Bledsoe as membership engagement manager
The Truckload Carriers Association recently hired Erica Gouse Bledsoe as its new membership engagement manager. In this role, Erica will lead TCA’s efforts to strengthen member relationships, increase engagement across all membership segments, and support the association’s continued growth.
A Northern Virginia native, Erica brings more than 12 years of experience in the mortgage industry, where she developed a reputation for client connection, sales excellence, and relationship building. Erica is the immediate past president of the Junior League of Northern Virginia, a nonprofit dedicated to women’s leadership and community service. During her tenure, she served three years on the board, driving both growth and impact. Her commitment to service has earned her multiple accolades, including Northern Virginia 40 Under 40 (2025) and Alexandria Chamber of Commerce 40 Under 40 (2024).
