Phillips Industries has introduced Arctic Superflex 7-conductor electrical cable, which it specifically designed for durability in extreme temperatures.
The company stated the cable will remain flexible in cold weather down to –85F (-65C) and will hold its shape at temperatures up to 175F (79C) “making it an excellent cable replacement choice for fleets that run in severe temperature ranges.”
Arctic Superflex, identifiable by its deep blue jacketing, is resistant to chemicals, oil and fuel, noted Phillips. It satisfies ABS requirements and meets SAE J29394 specs. The cable is offered in lengths of 100 or 250 ft.
