The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) hasn’t published the offical totals from last month’s International Roadcheck enforcement push just yet, but the raw data can be parsed by anyone with the understanding, time and patience—and a big enough spreadsheet—to take on the DOT’s monthly data dump. And the data analysts at Vigillo are just that anyone.

The charts above come from Vigillo founder and CEO Steve Bryan, and you’ll need to visit his blog for the ever-colorful commentary that accompanies his presentations.

And while Bryan has certainly boosted the company’s profile with his lively and outspoken stage presence at trucking industry events, the data is the data, as he routinely explains. So, with Vigillo’s permission, have a look at the preliminary analysis.
