Nearly $40 million available for clear air initiatives

The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) is hosting Texas Truck ‘em: Advancing the Choice (ATC), a conference to educate fleet owners and managers about local air quality issues and new technologies being implemented to address them on March 29 and March 30.

The conference is part of its Clean Cities/Clean Vehicles program and it will include a grant application workshop to help fleets apply for some of the $40 million in funding available to qualifying carriers ready to implement various clean air initiatives.

The conference will be held at the Reliant Center in Houston, TX. There is a $150 registration fee to attend, which is payable on site. Contact [email protected] or 713-993-4577 for more information.
