Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company has chosen the Trailer OEM Business Unit of Webb Wheel Products to be its standard supplier of wheel end equipment. Webb will supply trailer hub and drum assemblies to two of the trailer maker’s manufacturing facilities, in Glade Spring, VA, and Enterprise, AL.

The relationship between the two companies continues to grow after a long-time successful partnership in the heavy-duty aftermarket. Wheel end products for Utility plants will be shipped from Webb Wheel’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, which was completed in 2004 in Tell City, IN. The facility is dedicated to high-quality, high-volume hub and drums specifically for the heavy-duty trailer industry.

Kent Finkbiner, president of Webb’s OEM Trailer Business Unit, commented, “We are particularly pleased to be selected as a preferred supplier to a company with the exceptional reputation of Utility. We believe the superior quality of Webb products, with powder-coated hubs and all balanced brake drums, is a great complement to the overall high quality of Utility trailers.”
