Volvo Trucks going strong

Volvo Truck Corp. posting big year-over-year delivery gains

Volvo Truck Corp. has announced that its global deliveries in February were up 31% to 16,135 units compared with the same period last year.

The jump is largely attributed to the surging North American market, which posted a 63% increase to 5,018 vehicles.

Volvo Trucks is a business unit of Sweden’s AB Volvo, which is also the parent firm of Mack Trucks and Renault Trucks.

Volvo noted its stated deliveries are the number of trucks that are transferred either to dealers or sent directly to customers and do not represent actual retail sales.
