Severe-duty brake products

Wagner Brake Products, a Federal-Mogul Corp. operation, has introduced a line of disc brake pads and shows for truck, school bus, emergency vehicle and other severe-use applications.

The new Wagner SevereDuty line features disc brake pads and shoes engineered to deliver excellent stopping power, fade resistance, and long service life for a full range of commercial vehicles, said the company.

Each pad uses Wagner’s integrally molded friction technology with a reinforced friction bond design for increased strength and life. SevereDuty pads are post-cured, which allows for significantly faster break-in, and feature OE-matched shims, slots, chamfers and wear sensors, noted Wagner.
