    Yellow Roadway Corp. (YRC) has announced several leadership moves within the corporation. All the changes are effective Sept. 1, 2005.

    Stephen Bruffett has been named senior vp- field operations & sales for Yellow Transportation. He will leave his current post as senior vp- investor relations, government relations and corporate development for YRC.

    Phil J. Gaines will take on Bruffett’s former role as senior vp- investor relations, government relations and corporate development for YRC. Gaines has 16 years of experience at YRC and its operating units, and most recently served as senior vp- finance and administration for Yellow Transportation. In his new role, he will be responsible for investor relations, and will direct legislative and public policy matters that affect the company. He also will work on merger and acquisition activities.

    Todd Hacker will replace Gaines as senior vp- finance and administration for Yellow Transportation. Hacker has been vp- treasurer for YRC since February 2004.
