Third party logistics company Pacer International has appointed J. Michael Driggers president of its Pacer Transport division. Pacer Transport provides highway transportation services through a network of small fleet operators and freight agents located across North America.

Driggers, given the task of boosting profitable growth for Pacer Transport’s services, which includes flatbed, company van, and agent operations, reports to Jeffrey Brashares, COO of Pacer’s Logistics Segment.

Prior to joining Pacer, Driggers served as president of LinkAmerica Corp., an integrated network of locally operated transportation companies from 2002 to 2007. He had previously been president of Lane Freight, a regional, dry van, and truckload carrier based in Houston, TX, and a LinkAmerica subsidiary, from 1998 to 2002.
