According to AMSA, Graebel Companies, which was founded in 1950 with one truck, is now the largest privately held relocation company in the world, and has introduced innovations such as 24/7 customer service, account accessibility, simplified tariffs and performance guarantees.

The Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Service is given annually to an active AMSA member who has made significant advances to the industry and who has at least 20 years in the business.
