Velvac, a manufacturer and supplier of vision systems and component parts, has appointed John German heavy duty aftermarket market manager. Previously German held executive sales management positions with Federal Signal, Siemens Energy & Automation, and Westinghouse Electric Corp.
The company also announced that Peter Whitehead has been named vp of engineering after spending the previous 14 years as engineering manager/director of product development at two truck mirror manufacturers.
In addition, Dale A. Wittlieff has joined Velvac as director of quality assurance. He comes to the company with experience in the trucking industry, having worked for both General Motors and Paccar.
