A new research project on how pricing and lane competition impacts profitability is being conducted by McLeod Software and the Brimmer College of Business and Information Science at Tuskegee University.
The project team is seeking fleets that would like to be a part of the program. All participating companies will have access to the proprietary research results to help inform their own business decisions
“We are excited to partner with Tuskegee University in this project,” said Mark Cubine, vice president of marketing at McLeod Software, “as it will help us to better understand the analytics we need to provide for our customers as they grow their businesses and pursue higher profits.”
According to Dr. Tejinder Sara, Dean of the College of Business and Information Science, companies can feel safe in participating because all data will be collected anonymously and only reported in the aggregate, not by individual fleet.
“This collaboration between McLeod Software and the Brimmer College …will extend the body of knowledge in the trucking industry, while providing scholarly opportunities for our students and faculty,” noted Sara.
Fleets interested in learning more can contact Professor George L. Edwards, study investigator at [email protected] or Dr. Faye Hall Jackson, management department head at [email protected].
