For businesses trying to navigate their way through the current economic climate, the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) Business and Market Planning Summit will offer expert advice.

The summit, which will be held on Oct. 2, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn in Dearborn, MI, will offer critical business planning and economic forecasts for the work truck and trailer industry by some of the top U.S. economists. Among those scheduled to speak are Mark Vitner, senior economist and director of corporate investment banking, Wachovia Corp.; Eli Lustgarten, senior vp of Longbow Research and president of ESL Consultants Inc.; Kenneth Kramer, principal, Industry Forecast Practices Group, Global Insight; and Steve Latin-Kasper, market data and research director, National Truck Equipment Assn.

Among the information to be presented are truck sales figures, application markets and other economic indicators that will help companies prepare themselves for their next business cycle.
