Scheduled for January 21st through the 24th at The Mirage in Las Vegas, The Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week ‘08’s Business and Technical Theater will feature Tom Easton of Essential Action Group and Dr. Clint Longenecker from the University of Toledo’s College of Business Administration.

Easton will be presenting an updated version of his Value-Added Selling program from last year’s conference, Improving Sales Call Proficiency: The Recipe. The session will offer an opportunity to learn more about both the buying and selling process of the multi-billion dollar commercial vehicle replacement parts market.

Longenecker’s presentation will be drawn from his book written with Cube Culture Corp. President Greg Papp and IET President Dr. Timothy Stansfield, The Two-Minute Drill: Lessons for Rapid Organizational Improvement from America’s Greatest Game. Longenecker will discuss the strategies detailed in The Two-Minute Drill, highlighting football practices that also win the organizational improvement game.

In addition, there will be panel discussions including Access to Repair Information: An Industry Perspective; Branded versus Non-Branded: Who is taking the risk?; and Why People Buy, which will include representatives from Schneider National and Pepsi-Cola.

“One important feature of the 2008 HDAW Business & Technical Theater is the enhanced scheduling of events,” said Jerry Weis, HDAW '08 Chairman. “Thanks to valuable feedback from attendees in 2007, we have made changes – such as separate time periods for the Business & Technical Theater programs and the Product Expo, allowing HDAW attendees to participate in all the week’s events.”
