New Albany, OH-based Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) plans to build a new 89,000 square foot corporate office plus research and development technical center to combine four existing locations in the central Ohio area, creating a centralized research and development technical center directly connected to the company’s corporate headquarters.

The company’s products include suspension seat systems, interior trim systems, such as instrument and door panels, headliners, molded products, cab structures and components, mirrors, wiper systems, electronic wiring harness assemblies and controls and switches specifically designed for applications in commercial truck cabs.

“This new facility will put us on the forefront of research and development for the global commercial vehicle industry and enable us to further showcase our growing capabilities to both existing and new customers,” said Mervin Dunn, CVG’s president and CEO. “By combining facilities, we will also be able to take advantage of synergies in functional areas and prepare for future expansion and growth opportunities.”
