Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems has appointed Rick Nork vp & CFO. Nork had held the CFO post on an interim basis for the past four months.

Nork will be responsible for the strategic and functional leadership of the Bendix finance team. Previously, he spent 12 years with Robert Bosch Corporation/AlliedSignal Braking Systems Americas, holding the position of CFO and executive vp of finance, controlling, and administration, while also serving on the Robert Bosch Corporation Board of Directors.

"Rick brings to Bendix more than 30 years of progressive and accomplished financial management experience in the automotive, aerospace, and power generation industries," said Joe McAleese, president and CEO of Bendix. "Rick's practical, hands-on experience in global financial reporting, along with his investment management expertise continues our effort to build a strong and balanced leadership team, which is necessary for both our short- and long-term growth."

In addition, the company announced that Eddie Wilkinson has been promoted to vp of quality and product safety. Wilkinson has been with Bendix for more than a decade, most recently serving as operations director. The new quality and product safety group is charged with ensuring products and services provided to customers reflect their focus on reliability and safety, the company said.
