United Road, a Romulus, MI-based carrier, has been honored by Ford Motor Company and UPS Autogistics as the Carrier of the Year.
The award recognizes superior performance in customer service, adherence to transit requirements, damage-free delivery, advanced information technology and logistic problem solving. The award was announced during the Autogistics annual carrier assembly in Livonia, MI.

United Road has 1,500 employees and a network of 1,200 late model vehicle carriers. Operating in the continental United States, Alaska, Canada and Puerto Rico, United Road is a SmartWay certified "green" auto carrier for its environmental practices.
