    J.T. Weis has been appointed president of the newly formed Brake & Wheel Ends Group (BWE). BWE is a part of the Commercial Vehicle Undercarriage business unit under parent Marmon Highway Technologies.

    “J.T comes with a wealth of experience in our industry, having held significant leadership positions in the global arena,” said Pedro Ferro, president of MHT Undercarriage. “We are especially pleased that he will be leading our newly formed Brake & Wheel Ends Group as we focus on our commercial vehicle stopping distance components.”

    Most recently, Weis was president of Total Filtration Services with Clarcor. He has also held management positions with Valeo SA, Allied Signal and Tenneco Corp.

    The BWE group will be comprised of Webb Wheel, TSE Brakes and Leland Brakes.
