Steve Robinson has been named senior VP of operations for transportation management services company Transplace. Most recently, Robinson served as executive VP, retail & consumer packaged goods division, for One Network Enterprises, a supply chain solution provider.
“Having extensive experience with technology and service providers, and a solid background from working with a major retailer, Steve brings a unique, 360-degree perspective of supply chain management and transformation,” said George Abernathy, executive VP and COO. “Aligned with the three key markets we serve – retail, CPG and manufacturing – Steve adds even more industry knowledge of transportation and the supply chain to Transplace; he joins a solid team committed to excellence for our customers.”
Robinson has also held executive roles with Wal-Mart, Air Road Express and i2.
