    DuPont has unveiled a new low-VOC commercial and fleet finishing system. Imron Elite incorporates a two-component polyurethane coat so repair shops can “recreate” factory finish that is smoother, glossier, and with reduced orange peel, the company said.

    The Imron Elite system includes:

    • SS Polyurethane Enamel Topcoat, a high-gloss, durable single-stage;

    • BC Polyurethane Enamel Basecoat, a glossy high-hiding air-dry basecoat resistant to chemicals, weathering, solvents and abrasion;

    • 8840S Polyurethane Clearcoat, a glossy clear that resists yellowing, chemicals, solvents and environmental conditions.

    Common activators and accelerators make it simple to adjust the performance of Imron Elite for different application needs. Color coats are compatible with all DuPont OEM/Fleet Primer systems.
