Kansas City-based R-O-M Corp. has named Jeff Hupke president. Hupke has been the company’s CFO since 2005.

“Jeff has been working toward this opportunity since joining our company,” John McAlister, board member, said. “He has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a unique technical expertise in leading our finance and operations teams. More importantly, he has proven to be a key change agent in all areas of our company. We know he’ll build on that strong foundation as he takes over all facets of the business.”

R-O-M is a manufacturer of products in the fire service, food distribution and building security industries.

Hupke assumed the dual roles of CFO and COO in 2007. Before joining R-O-M, Hupke served in financial and operational capacities for some of the region's largest companies, including General Motors and Hallmark, as well as performing consultative work with a number of start-ups and smaller sized companies.
