NPTC slates safety conference

The National Private Truck Council (NPTC) has scheduled its second annual National Safety Conference for September 16-17, 2004, at the Hyatt Hotel at Dulles International Airport, just outside Washington DC. The conference will feature presentations, discussions with key government representatives, expert panels, and problem-solving workshops designed to give attendees insights into implementing safety

The National Private Truck Council (NPTC) has scheduled its second annual National Safety Conference for September 16-17, 2004, at the Hyatt Hotel at Dulles International Airport, just outside Washington DC.

The conference will feature presentations, discussions with key government representatives, expert panels, and problem-solving workshops designed to give attendees insights into implementing safety programs.

The conference will focus on the following topics:

  • Applying proven management techniques to safety and security;

  • Developing a communication safety plan;

  • Regulatory updates;

  • Technology reviews that will deliver safety and productivity results

  • Implementing safety incentives
