Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems has opened a new service center in Kenly, NC, off exit 106 on Interstate 95 at a Flying J truck stop.

This new center will provide fleets with preventative maintenance service, including oil changes, and light mechanical service, such as brake, electrical, and heating/air conditioning repairs, said Clint Schrock, director of on-highway operations for Wingfoot.

In addition, the new Wingfoot location offers new and retreaded tires, along with 24/7 roadside assistance to get trucks back on the road quickly, reducing downtime, he said.

“Kenly is the third Wingfoot Truck Care Center located on I-95 between Florida and Virginia. [as we] strategically locate facilities to better serve our customer’s needs,” added Schrock. “We plan to continue our expansion across the U.S.”

A wholly owned subsidiary of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Wingfoot operates more than 140 commercial tire sales, service, and retread facilities nationwide. With the new Kenly NC location, the company now has 36 on-highway Truck Care Centers operating in 15 states.
