Portland, OR-based truck dealer TEC Equipment, Inc. has recently signed new franchise agreements with sister OEMs Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks North America so it could open a new facility in Las Vegas, NV. The new dealership gives TEC Equipment saturation coverage of the state of Nevada and all major interstate highways.

The new facility, constructed in 2009, is located in North Las Vegas adjacent to I-15 and consists of an 8,000-sq-ft building with showroom, warehousing, offices and three pull-through service bays on a 3.77- acre lot.

Truck parts sales and warehousing are already underway, with full-line truck service, maintenance and repair to be available starting next month. New Mack and Volvo truck sales along with full-line used truck sales will commence during the first quarter of 2011, as will truck leasing operations, noted David Thompson, TEC president & CEO.

“Our new Las Vegas dealership, combined with our existing Reno-Sparks, Nevada dealership, gives us complete coverage of the state of Nevada,” he added. “Carriers traveling I-15 from Southern California to Salt Lake City, Denver and points beyond can now rely on the TEC Equipment and TEC of California family of dealerships to support them.”
