FedEx Express, the express transportation subsidiary of FedEx Corp, has introduced a domestic next-business-day service across Mexico, marking the company’s first domestic service offering in Latin America.
FedEx Express Nacional will begin operations on October 6. The service will feature delivery to any address in Mexico—including next-business-day delivery--as well as provide online tracking and tracing, the company said.
The Mexican service follows similar domestic service launches in China, India and the United Kingdom.
“Adding domestic service to our broad portfolio of international products increases our ability to further facilitate commerce for customers doing business in Mexico, demonstrating our continued commitment to the market and our confidence in its future growth,” said Juan N. Cento, president of FedEx Express, Latin America and Caribbean Division.
