Gearworks has released etrace 7.1, an enhanced version of its wireless and web-based mobile workforce management solution.

The software allows businesses to supervise personnel and activities in the field, the company said. Using GPS, etrace allows real-time supervision and coordination and the integration of multiple aspects of the business while improving productivity.

New features in the latest version include editable timecards which allow supervisors to view a history of the edits made and an at-a-glance report that provides a daily report summarizing key metrics such as payroll, travel, jobs completed and policy violations via email.

“Many enterprises are facing numerous organizational hardships and are being forced to make tough decisions as a result of the current economy,” said Rob Juncker, chief technology officer for Gearworks. “etrace 7.1 simplifies and automates the complete mobile resource management process, enabling businesses to improve employee productivity and save money.”
