Arrow Truck has announced Back On The Road, an initiative that will provide one owner-operator not currently driving due to unfortunate circumstances a second chance. The winner will receive a 2005 VNL 670, provided by Volvo Trucks North America, and a one-year work agreement through Heartland Express.

“We are excited for the opportunity to help someone get their life back on track,” said Carl Heikel, president and CEO of Arrow. “Back On The Road is about more than simply giving a truck away, it is about giving someone back their livelihood.”

Arrow is accepting nominations between Nov. 5, 2007 and Jan. 15, 2008. The winner will be announced in March 2008, receiving the truck during the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS).

The application will include a 250-word story explaining why the nominee is deserving of the award. Following the show, the winner will provide updates from the road to be posted on the Back on the Road website.
