J.D. Power and Associates has announced that Peterbilt Motors Company took the top slot in its 2009 Medium Duty Truck Customer Satisfaction Study in the conventional segment

J.D. Power and Associates has announced that Peterbilt Motors Company took the top slot in its 2009 Medium Duty Truck Customer Satisfaction Study in the conventional segment. This marks the third time inf the last four years that the OEM has been ranked the highest in customer satisfaction among conventional medium-duty trucks, the company said.

J.D. Power noted that its annual study is based on interviews with nearly 1,600 principal “maintainers,” such as fleet managers or owner-operators, of two-year-old conventional cab medium-duty trucks. The company said Peterbilt garnered the highest scores in the vehicle performance and cost of ownership factors.

“We are honored to have been recognized again for Peterbilt’s industry leading medium-duty products being highest ranked in customer satisfaction,” said Bill Jackson, Peterbilt gm and Paccar vp.
