Chrysler streamlines top ranks

New duties are being added to the plates of several top executives of Chrysler Group LLC. Fred Diaz, president & CEO of Ram Truck Brand will now also serve as president & CEO of Chrysler de Mexico – a job title that also includes responsibility for Latin America

New duties are being added to the plates of several top executives of Chrysler Group LLC. Fred Diaz, president & CEO of Ram Truck Brand will now also serve as president & CEO of Chrysler de Mexico – a job title that also includes responsibility for Latin America.

Reid Bigland, president & CEO of Chrysler Canada, will now also serve as president & CEO of the Dodge Car Brand and head up U.S. Sales.

In addition, Chrysler has appointed David Buckingham to the newly created role of COO of Chrysler Canada, reporting to Bigland. Previously, Buckingham served as vp-sales for Chrysler Canada.

Ralph Gilles, head of exterior and interior design for all Dodge, Ram, Chrysler and Jeep Brand vehicles, will now also be president & CEO of the company’s newly formed Street and Racing Technology (SRT) Brand, Chrysler Group's cross-brand performance unit, and the company's Motorsports activities.

Joe ChamaSrour has been reassigned to international operations. He will report to Mike Manley, president & CEO of the Jeep Brand and head of international operations.
